    Pros

I received great experience. Over all the company is a great place to work.

    Cons

Management does not like people who are out of the box thinkers.

They prefer people who are more like robots. You cannot go there and show your intelligence level openly.
They see it as treat to their positions. The fact is you are there to helping the company.

If you as a new hire have better ideas, give it to the manger so they can take credit for your knowledge and expertise you have.
Do not get mad at them if they do not acknowledge your loyalty and intelligence level.

Then they will like you. Just help the company, it helps America in the long run.

This is not unusual behavior with many companies, but for America to stay at the top,
they need to capture the experience of others under them. This is the Sr. Project Managers job to teach the Managers and Stake Holders these valuable lessons.

I was punished for giving ideas to upper management.

An example was me telling them to get into mobile wallet. I ask in a meeting why they were behind the trend.

However, they did bring it out right away. The same was with customer service. They did require all employees
take a course in customer service.

By the way the company did reap some very large corporations after the fact.

I am happy I helped the company, but I never received any credit.

I did learn a lot from my managers, so I am not saying a bad thing about them. This is just my opinion.

    Advice to Management

I think they should stop suppressing others ideas. Sometimes subordinates know more than you as a manager, and what you think they may know. They are on the outside looking in and see things you may not see, since they are not in, "the in groups circles" who keep quiet to keep their jobs.

The key is capturing their intelligence to keep the company a hot commodity to your investors.

It does not make you less of a manager to use their suggestions and give them credit.

Read: The One Minute Manager and get back to the basics.

This is the way to keep America the envy of the world. Suppressing is a China thing. This is America.

    We are built on speed.

I recommend this employer. They are at the top of their game. I would invest in the company if I were Warren Buffet.
