    Better than China

    Manufacturing Manager (Former Employee)

ProsFMC is a company with integrity. High moral ethics are valued at the highest levels. People are treated fairly and with respect.

ConsMoving much of the manufacturing and even supply chain management to Asia Pacific. This is not good for the long term survivability of the organization. Once all of the expertise is cut and/or leaves the innovation will come to a grinding deadly halt.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't abandon the company's roots in the great rush to embrace China. China is not your friend. They will gladly take your technology and then eat your lunch.

    Great place to work

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsThe plant is big enought that you can get involved in a lot of different things, or you can focus in on one specific process. The initial training was very in depth and they made sure you were on the right track

ConsIt was a little isolated from the world, and pretty cold in the winter. That's forgivable though as your also close to the country.
