I worked at FaceTime Communications full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I loved being able to stay in my college town after graduation and I am super grateful for the experiences I got. I also loved traveling to CA quite often for business.

    Cons

I felt that geographically I was limited in the salary I was able to request. CA counterparts (or people lower on hierarchy) were making more than I was on the east coast.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay for the person's skills and don't take advantage of their location to leverage lower wages.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
  2.

Culture of Blame. Extremely poor morale and stress due to CEO micromanagement. Lack of Executive leadership.

I worked at FaceTime Communications full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Salary was on par with Silicon Valley industry standards.
Fellow colleagues work good to work with.

    Cons

-Product is much Marketing hype. It might serve a niche market for financial services compliance but not a viable solution for market.
-CEO micromanages many managers, and this creates fear and stress which resonates down to the rank and file.
-Sales quotas are not realistic based on market. Reps are blamed, berated rather than inspired during Kickoff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To the Board of Directors: The problems start at the very Top CEO. Replacing the CEO with one who inspires and leads would change the company tremendously.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

    I worked at FaceTime Communications

    Pros

The technology was rock solid and continued to advance.

    Cons

New management was brought in and they wiped out the entire sales team.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sales team was great, technology was new and replacing sales team with new team that was again replaced multiple times was not a great move. Upper management was and continues to be strong.
