Current Employee - Operator in Bridgman, MI

    Pros

This in particular facility in Bridgman, MI is a great line of work. It reflects on a variety of innovations that pertain to the future and some still with the past. There could be a long but short term to this company's product. All which is based in the base product.

The company outlook has a wide variety, anything from safety to giving back to our local community. Most management here looks out for the employees best interest from the work place to their personal life. All in all there is a great company here as long as it continues to progress like it has.

    Cons

No matter where you work there will always be a down side to that establishment. The biggest down side to the Bridgman facility is "MANAGMENT". Any one person can say that they might be able to do a better job than their supervisor or the owner. These few that manages this facility are in that group.

Biggest problems with the management is dishonesty. If your dishonest with your employees than you lack the respect in return. Along with taking things away from us, but not keeping the best interest of their employees safety in mind. Management only cares about the finished product, not the safe ways to derive the finished product. The upper management above these individuals are what saves these few. These couple individuals that run this in particular plant are out of their leave. If it were not for this in particular break in the string, this facility would be near perfect to work for.

    It needs restructure to management!!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My only advice to the higher management to the cooperation would be, that it may be time to listen to employees about the facilities they work at and see how the individuals can tell you the things they see, or don't see about the ones you put trust into. My opinion out with the bad apples and in with the fresh ones.

    Pros

Small, Good people on the ground floor of IT and good people within other areas of the company. Many people are very down to Earth and friendly.

    Cons

Some management can be shady and "fake" to their department. That same management can also be dishonest and not have their employee best interst in mind. Very clickish with certain people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look at some of Senior management and make sure that they are aligned with what you want. Take a close look at some department and their employees. You will see that they are not genuinely happy.
