    Pros

Benefits were great. You had accumulation of hours that were PTO that were used for vacation, sick or for whatever you may needed to take off.

    Cons

Working 12 hours shifts was hard on me.

    Advice to Management

Like I said my manager was so fair in every way. Time off, vacation etc.Upper management always listened to what you had to say.

    Pros

100% support from ALL Senior level IT employees. I loved my team they are great!
Relaxed job most of the time
90% of the UMP employees are nice and respectful.

    Cons

Fairview IT supplied IT support for University MN Physicians Heart. I worked on site for the two floors that UMP Heart rented out from the hospital. While Fairview was great and supportive the environment at UMP had bad apples. It was always the same doctors, nurses, admins complaining and starting drama for the sake of starting drama because they are divas. DIVAS. my goodness! One head admin asked for a two screen monitor set up and when she got what she wanted she still complained because the monitors weren't 'matching monitors'. One doctor would come by and just belittle me and tell me how to fix IT problems on his computer but he had NOOOOO clue what he was talking about! Another nurse demanded that she get a NEW computer on the spot and when I offered to let her use a laptop in the mean time she claimed she wasn't 'trained' to use a laptop. PAAAAWWWWLLLLEEEEAAAAASSEEEEE!!! Once again divas! If it weren't for the nice UMP employees and my awesome supportive senior staff at Fairview I'd have left the job after 3 months.

    Advice to Management

Someone needs to put UMP Heart admin and nurses in the corner and tell them to stop being divas.
Better pay. I'd say at least $18/hr starting off.

    Pros

The floor as a whole is very helpful, teamwork minded, and mindful of their co-workers. I constantly hear RN's asking each other if they need help. Being part of The Cleveland Clinic Way and knowing that you are truely helping people, heal and feel better.
I'm learning more patients when dealing with medical staff
Charity Involvment, good compentition between floors

    Cons

Healthcare in itself can be challanging. Lack of support from Managment and other hospital floors.
The estrogen overload can be slightly unbearable at times, with the nagging, complaining, and attitudes
Working understaff and doing more work to compensate for the change in health care; which I feel is wrong because we are losing the meaning of the care in health.

    Pros

Depending on the unit, some nurses are great. Acute Rehab has great nurses! Very genuine and caring! Great care && food!

    Cons

Some can be really moody and stuck up! I know particular nurses and have seen them act stuck up. Not very professional and leavs all the work for the aides
