I have been working at Farmers Insurance Group full-time

    Pros

All web-based systems, (CRM, client data, applications, etc.), that use today's technology...not the old green screen that many agencies have to use. The support from the District Office to the top of the chain is 2nd to none. The claims processing is amazing and clients are very pleased with how quickly everything is handled.

    Cons

Rates are typically higher than most competitors.

I have been working at Farmers Insurance Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good pay when you perform well. The office culture in this office is the best in the country. Flexible work schedule. Good work/life balance. 401k matches dollar for dollar up to six percent.

    Cons

High paced environment. Office is moving to the Michigan hub. Medical benefits has very high deductible plans which get expensive with an entire family on the plan.

    Advice to Management

The leadership team at this location is probably the best in the company. No micro managing and alot of empowerment to the staff. It would be nice to see this leadership model to be implemented within the entire organization.

I have been working at Farmers Insurance Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Really great place to work at where management is awesome and where they care about you. The training is a lot, but they really try to help you understand the material and how to deal with agents. There are a lot of advancement opportunities as long as you work hard and do what you're supposed to do. The support is amazing and they seem to truly care. There are also little things they do for their employees to boost moral and have fun such as floor or team parties and potlucks. Best place I've worked for!

    Cons

Agents can be brash and rude at times when calling on behalf of their client's, but supervisors are supportive and on our side.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing! This is an awesome place to work.
