It's a little more (better) than you'd expect from a fast food company.

I have been working at Fazoli's

    Pros

Pay is a little better than most fast food I know of. The food is also fairly good for a fast food company.

    Cons

The franchise isn't run that well. Pay isn't so great, unless you have no education. Raises aren't given much. Don't expect much of them.

    Pros

Coworkers were awesome to work with

    Cons

    No challenges, just horrible management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They should get new management overall. They were RUDE and perverted to employees. They had no respect for the employee's under them. They did not train new employees well at all. They talked down to you and acted like you were stupid. Nothing more to give advice on because this location is now closed

    Pros

    The flexible scheduling and hours

    Cons

Too many chiefs and not enough Indians
    Inconsistent management
    Unprofessional colleagues
    Hostile working environment

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please discuss all changes among each other before directing the rest of the employees so there is more consistency in policy changes. Schedule employee meetings at least to make sure that new policies are absorbed effectively. Learn better communication skills and learn how to treat your employees.

I have been working at Fazoli's part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The people there are great and friendly. Your hard work pays off in more hours. It's generally a right knit group of people that work there so you can fit in easily. One of the nicer fast good restaurants.

    Cons

Pretty much no training whatsoever! They just throw you in and expect you to know what to do, and in turn give you no hours. You will work your butt off and the return is not worth it at all. Kind of cliquey if you haven't worked there for a long time, in my experience at least! Management is over abundant. In our small little store we have about 10 managers I believe. Half of your work team is incompetent and you end up doing 2 - 3 people's jobs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Training is important for people to understand their place. Stop being self absorbed for one day at least and make sure that associates get proper training!

    I have been working at Fazoli's part-time

    Pros

I've worked here for over three years and now that I'm in college and have been "training" to become a manager for months now I think it's finally time to leave. Here are my Pros:
Easy to move up if you're a hard worker
in between fast food and restaurant so nice atmosphere
50 percent discount for associates and free food for managers

    Cons

Terrible pay - starts almost EVERYONE out at 7.25 even if you have plenty of experience in food. Gives out raises every April but it's now the middle of May and the management is not being straight with us about when we should expect our raises. Company does anything they can to cut costs. Managers are pressured to have excellent labor even though that means sending people home and leave the rest to do twice the work. There is heavy turnover and most people quit on the spot in a result of arguing with hothead managers. Company waits forever to fix necessary repairs - our restaurant has had water leaking from the drink fountain into the carpet for months. This has produced numerous complaints and all they have done is cover the water with a large rug. We once went a whole summer without air conditioning in the kitchen, employees often had to take breaks to get through the shift without passing out from the heat. All of the managers have different opinions of the correct way to do things and criticize employees constantly which creates a tense work environment. The prices constantly go up with each menu change and the customers are unhappy with paying over ten dollars for a meal. I see this company going out of business soon.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fix building repairs in a timely manner and treat employees with respect

    I worked at Fazoli's full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The customer made it worth working there, some associates made a managers job easy. When i started had a great General Manager.

    Cons

Working as a team with I mean the management in other words it was hard to be able to communicate with fellow managers because it always end up with back stabbing. And what i mean is the general manager needs to do her job and she should not be talking to other managers associates about personal business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Worry about the customers and how the store is cleaned. Keep your personal life at the door. Don't talk about things that have nothing to do with running the store. Dont talk about other associates with other associates.

    Pros

MGMT gets free meals, Flexible scheduling, Can move up quickly. Employees at associate level are truly good people that are being ripped off by this company.

    Cons

Management on all levels is absolutely atrocious, from CEO on down. TERRIBLE pay! HORRIBLE/non-existent training programs. High turnover with support office, mgmt, and associates. Labor constraints (1 person does 2-3 people's job's).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Either gut the entire staff of the entire company, or close down.
