    Pros

    FedEx cares about the employees. There are opportunities to work in various areas and bits of training to be had. Layoffs are not a part of the culture if possible.

    Cons

    Slow to adapt. Enterprise-sized bureaucracy prevails. Difficult to get newer techniques and technologies in-place. In some jobs you can feel lost as a gear in the machine.

    Great work life balance, Huge Company, Career Advancement Opportunities in places all over the US and Internationally, Great Benefits, Caring Executive Management (took pay cuts and offered buy outs instead of handing out lay offs), Very Understanding Management.

    Company as a whole leans more toward the older generation that founded it. Needs younger blood.
