I have been working at Femsa full-time for more than a year

    Pros

FEMSA's employees get outstanding benefits and many opportunities for building up a career . It's great to see female leadership thrive in the company. Also, FEMSA has great corporate values, being a family-led company, being very protective of its employees.

    Cons

Salaries are not precisely the most attractive ones, unless you're working on finance or strategic planning. There are also huge opportunities to take on talent retention and promotion on the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve employee's evaluation mechanisms and provide more opportunities for young people that aims to grow and improve the company.

Former Employee - Analista De Procesos in Monterrey, Nuevo León (Mexico)

I worked at Femsa full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good perks, people are friendly, extremely youthful and energetic environment.

    Cons

Bureaucratic, slow, rule oriented, not results oriented. Although youthful and energetic, this energy is not focused, and most teams seem like a teacher (manager) dealing with children. Travel reimbursement requirements are illogical and occasionally, part of the travel will actually be paid by the employee. Rules don't make sense at all, if traveling is necessary to inspect a vehicle and only one day is necessary, then employee must stay at least 2 days, as one day trips are forbidden.
