    Cons

Sucks ups defeat hard work here you level of work don't get recognized just how well you brown nose to the managers at Dallas waterworks.

It time for some of you to retire and move on so some fair minded people to take lead. The culture you create has eroded the morale you will soon have a high turnover.

I have been working at Ferguson Enterprises full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I can't think of any pros. The environment is unprofessional and hostile. Management encourages bullying and harassment . Some good people try to help you even if that makes them targets too.

    Cons

Long hours with little pay or appreciation . No advancement opportunities unless you are one of the good old boys. Stay away from this horrible company. !!!!!!!!

    Advice to Management

Most of you should quit or be fired for what you have allowed to happen.

I worked at Ferguson Enterprises full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great career if you like selling plumbing! There are other things to sell as well so make sure you enjoy what you're selling.

    Cons

Many complaints from employees on unpaid overtime. As a branch manager I worked on average 75+ hours a week minimum to make budget.

    Advice to Management

Remember who does the work on the front line and work with them, help them. Train them properly and see how hard their job can be. It's about creating trust.

I worked at Ferguson Enterprises (Less than a year)

    Pros

Training program will teach you a lot about the industry. Good benefits. You'll lose weight working in the warehouse or on the counter!

    Cons

Long hours 60+ a week. The company expects you to move all over the place just to get promotions. Lazy, constantly changing management. Outside sales reps and branch managers reap the benefits of everyone hard work, and just point fingers and pass the blame. Branches are under staffed. Massive international company, your just a number, or a scapegoat.

    Advice to Management

Pick up the phone and help your counter/ inside sales team. Hold Salesmen accountable for their mistakes. Make sure your branches are staffed for the work load. Don't expect to retain any real talent with your current business model.

    Pros

Good health benefits. It was a good place to start and get sales experience but don't stay too long....like I did!

    Cons

It is definitely a good ol boys club. Management was either micromanaging or so far removed that they had no clue what was going on with me and my customers. It was a very arrogant, self centered management team that only cared about making themselves look good for the company.

    Advice to Management

Invest time in your employees, get to know them and their customers

They offer decent pay and decent benefits. The work/warehouse environment is usually kept pretty clean. They have very high safety standars.

    Cons

Management is a joke, constantly puts down employees and talks behind their backs.

    Advice to Management

    Stop micromanaging

I worked at Ferguson Enterprises as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Ferguson as a whole company believes in giving their employees opportunity to grow inside the company.

    Cons

Some department do not respect their employees. The managers in these departments do not value work ethics or their employee. Senior employees are skip over for promotions all the time and non qualified employee receives the promotion.

    Advice to Management

Look at the value the people bring to the company. How hard they have worked to bring world class customer service. Change the way your management team interacts with their employees.
