    Pros

13 Billion dollar company. Lots of pros from work atmosphere to benefits to salary. This is a great company to get into unless you are a push over. If you are afraid to voice your opinion then you won't make it far with this company.

    Cons

Restructuring their Business management system so some location are a bit short handed. Pay scale doesn't always make sense.

    Advice to Management

When you take on accounts, then make that employee an inside sales rep and remove the trainee status. Plus give him a raise, even if it is just a small one because a trainee should get paid less then someone who handles accounts.

    Pros

I can't think of any pros. The environment is unprofessional and hostile. Management encourages bullying and harassment . Some good people try to help you even if that makes them targets too.

    Cons

Long hours with little pay or appreciation . No advancement opportunities unless you are one of the good old boys. Stay away from this horrible company. !!!!!!!!

    Advice to Management

Most of you should quit or be fired for what you have allowed to happen.

    Pros

Great career if you like selling plumbing! There are other things to sell as well so make sure you enjoy what you're selling.

    Cons

Many complaints from employees on unpaid overtime. As a branch manager I worked on average 75+ hours a week minimum to make budget.

    Advice to Management

Remember who does the work on the front line and work with them, help them. Train them properly and see how hard their job can be. It's about creating trust.

    Pros

Largest plumbing wholesaler in the country with continuous growth opportunity. Many different job titles to choose from, nationally

    Cons

The new business structure aka BMI is causing a lot of unrest and turmoil. Long term it should work out but right now the company is at risk of loosing some of its best talent. Still a, "good old boys" atmosphere. Very frustrating.

I have been working at Ferguson Enterprises full-time

    Pros

Very one seems like they are willing to help you and generally care about you and your future. The training you will receive will be one of the best in the industry. Its a lot of hard work but if you stick with it and put 110%, you will find that they are an amazing company to work for.

    Cons

Very long hours, very hot/cold in the warehouse and a lot of manual labor. Be ready to work your butt off because its NOT easy. If you graduated in a fancy degree, you might want to double think your decisions.

I have been working at Ferguson Enterprises full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent starting salary out of college, great co-workers, Monday-Friday work schedule with an occasional Saturday (1/2 day), relocation opportunities, good benefits. Customer facing incentive is a decent program but these incentives are getting harder and harder to achieve.

    Cons

Poor pay increases (2-3% a year if you're lucky), 45+ hours per week required to achieve target salary, less than ideal office locations, antiquated computer system. Discretionary bonus used to be a decent incentive, but the program was eliminated for rank-and-file associates. Obvious and enormous pay disparity between middle/upper management and rank-and-file associates. Middle/upper management works so few hours that they may as well be classified as part-time employees. Top-heavy organizational structure - understaffing is a huge problem at most branches. Many customers are very difficult to do business with.

    Advice to Management

The company weathered the recession and is now experiencing unprecedented success. Reward your associates with more than a 2-3% pay increase every year - they're the ones who make this success possible. Menial pay increases have a horrible impact on employee morale. Scrap the "BMI" initiative. Adding another layer of high-paying management positions is not going to improve customer service and help you gain market share - re-investing in your branches will help you achieve your goals.

    Pros

Amazing benifits! and some really nice people can be found! Very nice building to work in.

    Cons

Seems like you need to be friends with management to get anywhere. Seniority doesn't really seem to matter.

    Advice to Management

Be more involved and know what is happening.
