Ferrara & Company has top notch talent and is a hidden gem of an agency

    Administration (Current Employee)

ProsThere is top talent at this agency. You will be challenged by your more experienced peers and learn a ton in a short amount of time. The agency is run very ethically and is always looking at process improvement and invests in the right staff and policies to carry it forward.

ConsThere are challenges here like there is at every advertising agency.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep doing what you are doing and driving the business forward!

ProsGrowth opportunities, fast-paced, friendly co-workers, recognition and reward for hard work and success, experienced leadership who have the employee's best interest in mind.

ConsLocation in central NJ. Nice area, which is desirable if you're looking for agencies outside of the city.

ProsFriendly, professional, fast-paced atmosphere. Big brand clients. Respectful of new ideas and experience brought in from all sides of the team.

ConsThe only negative for me was the location. But they were agreeable to remote working when needed.

    Princeton Surprised me

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Princeton, NJ

ProsI have been with the company for over seven years. We have more than doubled in size over the last few years. Most people are shocked when they hear about the mega brands that Ferrara works on. I am surrounded by a combination of seasoned professionals with big agency credentials and young, up-and-comings. I personally have been promoted multiple times and feel hard work can surely pay off here.

ConsNot as well known as the company should be.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep an eye toward the future.

Very well-meaning folks. Great hearts. Lots of laughter. Unnecessary stress.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    Princeton, NJ

ProsAccount staff that is genuinely committed to their clients success. Business-minded senior creative leadership that works hard to understand what success means to their client's communications needs..

ConsThe age-old account versus creative divide. Ownership that is steeped in the fear of keeping the lights on if they say "no" to a client.

Advice to Senior ManagementTrust your very well-heeled lieutenants. They'll strip a lot of the angst off your shoulders if you let them do what you hired them to do.

Good for people that don't have career goals!

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsYou do the same thing over and over again - great for elder people, you don't have to change with time.

ConsYou're expected to work crazy hours.

No training, you learn on your own.

    Don't expect to move up in this company - it's a dead-end.

    No team playing.

    They don't pay well.

You will never see smart, young people there for the long-term.

You can't last there if you challenge your seniors.

Advice to Senior ManagementLearn how to weed out the weak and replace with stronger individuals.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
