    Pros

There is top talent at this agency. You will be challenged by your more experienced peers and learn a ton in a short amount of time. The agency is run very ethically and is always looking at process improvement and invests in the right staff and policies to carry it forward.

    Cons

There are challenges here like there is at every advertising agency.

I worked at Ferrara and Company full-time

    Pros

Growth opportunities, fast-paced, friendly co-workers, recognition and reward for hard work and success, experienced leadership who have the employee's best interest in mind.

    Cons

Location in central NJ. Nice area, which is desirable if you're looking for agencies outside of the city.

I worked at Ferrara and Company as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

Friendly, professional, fast-paced atmosphere. Big brand clients. Respectful of new ideas and experience brought in from all sides of the team.

    Cons

The only negative for me was the location. But they were agreeable to remote working when needed.

I have been working at Ferrara and Company full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

I have been with the company for over seven years. We have more than doubled in size over the last few years. Most people are shocked when they hear about the mega brands that Ferrara works on. I am surrounded by a combination of seasoned professionals with big agency credentials and young, up-and-comings. I personally have been promoted multiple times and feel hard work can surely pay off here.

    Cons

Not as well known as the company should be.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep an eye toward the future.

I worked at Ferrara and Company full-time

    Pros

Account staff that is genuinely committed to their clients success. Business-minded senior creative leadership that works hard to understand what success means to their client's communications needs..

    Cons

The age-old account versus creative divide. Ownership that is steeped in the fear of keeping the lights on if they say "no" to a client.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Trust your very well-heeled lieutenants. They'll strip a lot of the angst off your shoulders if you let them do what you hired them to do.

I have been working at Ferrara and Company full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

You do the same thing over and over again - great for elder people, you don't have to change with time.

    Cons

You're expected to work crazy hours.

No training, you learn on your own.

    Don't expect to move up in this company - it's a dead-end.

    No team playing.

    They don't pay well.

You will never see smart, young people there for the long-term.

You can't last there if you challenge your seniors.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn how to weed out the weak and replace with stronger individuals.
