    Pros

Scheduling was very flexible and the co-workers were all wonderful. There's a familial feeling between all of the workers, from the lowest guy on the totem pole (me) to the upper management. Also, the interactions between you and the customer provide valuable customer service experience

    Cons

Work can be strenuous, especially if you're working one of the lower level positions. Also, change seems to happen very slowly. Suggestions from both the customers and fellow workers seem to be slowly implemented.

    Pros

Great pay because they are a private company but it depends on what position you work in.

    Cons

It's a very shady sinking ship!

    Pros

Fun environment and like all the employees. Mostly new people to timeshare are the Frontline reps. Timeshare training is good.

    Cons

I have my doubts if the product actually does what we tell people it does. Things are always changing and nobody really know exactly how everything works. Compensation plan was not explained fully until after I had been there for over a month. None of the sales reps are making any money. Most are broke and can barely put food on the table.

    Advice to Management

    Tell the truth up front.

  5. Fun, laid back

I have been working at Festiva Hospitality Group

    Pros

Encouragement to develop new ideas. Great co-workers, good benefits. Good resume builder - Cross training provided regularly.

    Cons

Not a lot of value given to employee loyalty. Pay can change arbitrarily.

    Advice to Management

Better communication; i.e. Share company goals with employees.

  6. Flexibility with creativity with terrible management.

    Pros

Ability to create and manifest your own ideas - truly turn an idea into a reality. Pays well if you work hard and speak up.

    Cons

Management is terrible, senior management is even worse. The company is corrupt because of the senior's in the corporate office and Ellington. They get in the way of their own success and trump ego over profit, ethics and morals. It's a "good ole boys AND girls" club at it's finest.

    Advice to Management

Follow the company's current policies and motto.

  7. No customer service - no one knows how anything works - no one answers questions

    Pros

Anyone gets hired (preferably, friends/relatives/lovers of those in mid-to-high positions)
Spouses, relatives & friends tend to work together
    Resumes (skills/experience) not needed

    Cons

Lack of training & support makes it difficult to find anyone with product knowledge
No one knows how anything works, so everyone makes up how they think it works
Customer service is non-existent & no one answers phone calls or emails from customers
Employees are replaced often ( revolving-door style) unless related to someone in higher position

    Pros

    Pay was decent. Fun co-workers

    Cons

First dealing with a morally corrupt company doesn't make it easy to sleep at night. Promotions based on manager liking or not liking you, given tasks to complete without training- not really management's fault because they're as clueless as anyone else in the company. Management only gets ahead if you do well, so they'll throw you under the bus the moment they don't hit their goals.

    Advice to Management

    Quit.

    Pros

Good benefits package, as you would expect from a resort company. Relaxed work atmosphere, monthly (roughly) meetings with food, booze, and fellowship.

    Cons

They don't pay quite as much as you would hope, and your job responsibilities can be kind of ill defined and flexible.
