I have been working at Fetch Technologies

    Pros

The company is full of committed, smart people who work hard as a team in realizing the company's future potential.

    Cons

There are many opportunities for this company; staying focused has been a challenge in the past, but less so now.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to hire smart, dedicated competent people who can work well as a team, and contribute to the company's future success.

I have been working at Fetch Technologies

    Pros

A collaborative environment amongst software engineers, intelligent engineers, flexible hours, and they used to have a good research lab. They have really good back-end software developers.

    Cons

There seems to be a bit of delusion about the company's potential. Also, the newer members of the management team are more concerned with their own agenda than anything else. The technology is a bit old and there is no innovation. There are newer data extraction companies with more funding and cutting-edge technology.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop hiring your friends and family that have little to offer.

Dedicated professionals with great work ethics.
Down to earth and approachable - Everyone is helpful.
Management provides flexibility of work hours

    Cons

    No growth opportunities.
Family operated - There are certain people in the senior management who micro manage and do not have professionalism/ professional trust.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Relook at some of the members of sr. management - if they should even be working at Fetch or who should be given a differnt position.

    I worked at Fetch Technologies

    Pros

Energetic CEO, good HR, and knowledgeable Director of Engineering who has been there for +10 years, and they have an excellent sales team

    Cons

    - A lot of the experts that know the software very well left the company
    - The company is very top heavy - more non-working managers than worker-bees
    - The CTO is very clueless about the software and obviously has never used it before
    - Senior Management talk a lot about vision but cannot execute
    - The middle manager lacks a lot of knowledge about the software, because his ego is too big to learn
    - Managers there like to arrive late to work, miss project meetings, and leave early by sneaking out the back door around 3-4 pm
    - For many years, they didn't know what business they're in
    - One of the managers there asked his teammate's age, ethnicity, and religion

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure your managers are adequate project management training and do not harass their employees.
