Former Employee – worked at Fiberweb
Pros – Fiberweb is an interesting place to work and there are constant changes to make the exciting.
It does have strong international ties.
Pay and severance are very good.
Cons – The constant churn is very off putting. This change not attached to the nature of business and the world we live in. There are regular universal restructurings with Presidents, Directors and structures changing with the seasons.
Advice to Senior Management – Consistency and the ability for employees to see a positive future state are critical. You have to pay more for talent because of your reputation for purging.

Former Employee – worked at Fiberweb
Pros – This is a very difficult question to answer. If you are one of the few employee's in the U.K. you live fat off of the rest of the company.
Cons – Reorganize at least 2x a year, no constance of purpose, no direction in the market place or in manufacturing. CEO is a youthful throw back of the 80's on an personal ego trip. He has no understanding of the technology or markets. Additionally the board members that have been choosen to give balance to the CEO are equally inept. This is a company that will emploid. There is a large fraternity of excellent managers that have been laid-off or excused in the past 5 years.
Advice to Senior Management – Manage the business based on the markets that they serve, develop a balanced strategy (20% specialty and 80% commodity) and resource them appropriately.

Former Employee – worked at Fiberweb full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Fiberweb promoted within when able to find the talent, even undeveloped talent, and would provide opportunities to grow in those roles and in the understanding of the business. They also had employees who were helpful in day-to-day business activities.
Cons – Unfortunately the business was more focused on paying off debt and not expanding the business so sites were closed and the remaining businesses were tasked with difficult profit expectations by shareholders.
Advice to Senior Management – Employees see the need to pay down debt but also need to have hope in the business. One way is to see the business grow.
