    Pros

Benefits are ok. Some of the people are nice. It is fairly easily to see when layoffs headed your way. It starts at the top of your department with the manager in charge.

    Cons

Senior management is a joke. Regular layoffs. Has no basis in job performance. Don't expect a meaningful pay raise.

    Advice to Management

Stop being such a terrible employer and having high turnover

    Pros

Nothing good about working with this company. I gave 1 star as an overall rating only because it was mandatory.

    Cons

The Omaha Claims Center was a sweat shop. Further, Jax HQ appeared to be clueless about organizational matters. Constant restructuring and turmoil. Constant firings. Everyone was always on edge, waiting for the ax to fall. Could be a deliberate business strategy to keep costs low and avoid paying claims -- keep only a few key players with knowledge and experience, get rid of most of the experienced attorneys, hire new attorneys. By the time the new ones figure out what they're supposed to do, the company fires them and the cycle starts again.

    Advice to Management

    Get a clue.

    Pros

There is no structure in the work place, employees do whatever they want because the owner is not able to say 'no' to anyone.

    Cons

Owner is the most unknowledgeable person about title insurance that I have ever met in the industry. He frequently goes against TDI regulations.
I was promised health insurance, but was then told to get on Obamacare.

    Advice to Management

Treating your employees with respect and dignity will get you a long ways.
Have an employee handbook with your rules written out, including what benefits your company offers.

    Pros

Some people are helpful. Management doesn't micromanage, allowing you to do your work your way. They offer a decent benefit package.

    Cons

No training whatsoever; you get thrown into the lion's den of 250-300 claims that are now your responsibility and told to figure it out. Once you do figure it out, the work is extremely repetitive and new challenges are rare. One of the consequences of the lack of training is that as claims travel through the different departments, a tremendous amount of mistakes are made that no one bothers fixing, making everyone's job harder. Overtime may as well be required, because management looks down upon you if you do not stay late or come in on weekends. Employee turnover is worse than any company I have ever worked for. There is no loyalty to employees, and firing people seems to have become a very popular hobby.

    Pros

Fidelity was willing to reward you for the work. I felt valued by my team and management. I was given an opportunity with no sales experience and was pleased with the compensation and overall earning potential.

    Cons

The job isn't easy and can be frustrating at times. When I first started, they lacked training.

    Pros

Reasonable Pay, Freedom within the office, Easy work. I enjoyed very little micromanaging from management while getting paid a decent wage. The overtime, which resulted in great, became a burden at times.

    Cons

Backstabbers, Mandatory Overtime, Lack of work-life balance. I was hired as a full time student and they were well aware of that and said that they would be sensitive to that. After I was hired, it is like they forgot I was a student.

    Advice to Management

Offer more opportunities for knowledge and advancement.
