    Pros

Finally, a company who understands project management and has both the foundation and best practices in place to allow their Project Managers to thrive. Competitive salary, positive, optimistic professional environment. They do a lot of the little things to let their employees know they care.

    Cons

Recently acquired by SAP there's some uncertainty about what this means to the fieldglass culture long-term. While they do offer a paid vacations benefit their vacation plan is not as competitive as other companies.

    Advice to Management

Continue to work closely with your direct reports to continue to foster the positive fieldglass environment.

    Pros

Free Drinks. Very casual. Promotes from within generally.

    Cons

Low pay. Doesn't match 401Ks. And after a while you realize management doesn't care about you really, which became even more prevalent with the SAP acquisition. Nobody knows what's going on there after the purchase. Nobody knows if they're going to hire 300 more people, fire 300 using arbitrary rules that were instituted after the acquisition rather than give severance and down size, or really anything. I mean some people don't even know what their official title is anymore. Also there's this really passive aggressive war between Professional Services and Account Services, which just stifles collaboration and fixing the stuff that's wrong.

    Advice to Management

I dunno. Reevaluate your lives and decide if you want to be corporate bureaucrats for a giant German company who's CEO has a quote from Bono on the back of his ghost written biography? Or, like, treat people better? Maybe try not instituting rules, then dropping them, then adding new ones seemingly monthly? Maybe don't have managers passive aggressively fight over people who have been promoted or moved to a different department.

    Pros

Great minds in most areas of the company. A CEO who is approachable and fair, and has great vision. Growth opportunities in some areas.

    Cons

The culture is cold and robotic...almost dystopian. Paranoia and secrecy are rampant. The CEO is too mild of a personality to elicit change in low performing areas of the company. Professional Services management is way beyond its depth, and there is no operational backbone to adjust.

    Advice to Management

"Past Performance is not an indicator of future results."

    Pros

Such a great environment. Great people. Innovative thinking. Product I believe in.

    Cons

Recently purchased by SAP which has a lot of unanswered questions about the future and the culture.

    Advice to Management

Communicate better. There is a lot of uncertainty and it is only fueled by the lack of communication from leadership.

    Pros

Office culture is unlike any other company I've worked at. The people make the company what it is. Room for growth within the company as well.

    Cons

Still growing, so that means the company's not very well-known outside of the software / staffing industry

    Pros

    - There are a few good people here that make it sort of worth while. - Pretty decent kitchen and free pop and coffee - Not bad holiday parties

    Cons

    - Lot of internal and petty politics in Professional Services - It's pretty obvious when you scratch a bit that they don't really care about employees, and everyone's out for themselves -Also, there's a click that sticks together and doesn't like new employees

    Advice to Management

Reform bad management practices, and incentive good management behavior. Sales and Marketing are strong teams, but professional services is terrible and needs reform
