I worked at Finexis Advisory as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

superior responds to feedbacks very quickly. prompt you to learn very quickly due to the nature of the job and require you to pick up skills very quickly. dealing with KPI, hence have to be able to deal with the stress level.

    Cons

too flat of a structure so who has more say in the company and who to look for when you are issues is unclear. training is definitely provided if you want to learn.

    Advice to Management

Numbers is not everything, focus on the personal connection rather than on cold and hard numbers.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Finexis Advisory full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good learning programs and mentors. Good team spirit

    Cons

Lonely profession, colleagues are seldom around. Sales has to be your cup of tea, if not you will be constantly depressed to hit your targets. Lack of base salary makes it hard to keep to a basic maintenance level, and this is not healthy for any working adult

    Advice to Management

Consider lower commission rates but a base salary structure to be in place, at least for the first 1-2 years of employment.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Finexis Advisory full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

office culture is the one thing that appeals to me most. If you don't like office politics, make sure you are in the right team in this company. Made true friends and have really good guidance from leaders, though it depends on which team you are at. They do not micromanage as much so its good!

    Cons

Funding for new ideas and projects is not as generous.

    Advice to Management

maybe focus on how to build company brand so that it is easier for the consultants to position themselves!

I have been working at Finexis Advisory full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Financial freedom, flexibility of schedule, control over own progression. Able to work closely with the people you choose, meet great clients. Builds great character in self.

    Cons

Have to be willing to work hard, and make sacrifices for clients too.

    Advice to Management

Continue to seek feedback from the ground, and work together to grow and become more relevant, because like you said, "Our (management) success depends on your (consultants) success."

    Pros

Excellent open sharing culture. Sincere, helpful. Truthful, direct and honest. Management appears to be striving for our welfare and benefits.

    Cons

Though Financial Advisory(FA) largest in the market, it is probably not very different from other FAs. Research team supporting updates on product comparisons does not appear as frequently as wished.
