    Good while it lasted

    ProsJust about everything. Travel, vacation time, perks.

    ConsMost DM really don't do their jobs until they are facing a terrible crisis. They believe wholeheartedly that it's harder to fire them than to fire a store manager or push the store manager in front of the bus first.

    Advice to Senior ManagementHold your DM to your law and letter better.

    ProsPros that is a good one none what so ever

    ConsManagement is always pushing for more no room to move up can move down and take a up cut of half your salary and get promised things that will never happen they do that to the associates as we'll making like they are going to move up but just have them doing more work

    Advice to Senior ManagementGet a real store managers in the stores that don't put everyone below them down like the West Covina stores a manger does as well as the los cerrtios store and make sure the DMs do what they say they will do not just pushing things off

    Good first job, somewhat easy money.

    ProsYou meet ALOT of people working in the sales business. The discount of 30% comes in handy when there is something you would like to purchase for yourself or someone else. You learn about shoes and how they are made, and how to deal with good and bad customers.

    ConsTHE PAY IS AWFUL. I worked there for the fun of talking to people and selling shoes. The commission does not make any sense. They treat almost all stores equal so you get paid the same rate in a small store as someone in a bigger store. The problem is they expect you to sell as much as the people in the bigger store so most people in small stores end up making minimum wage!!

    Advice to Senior ManagementReconsider the pay. A lot of people quit because 5.25 an hour plus commission gets most employees to 7.25-7.45.

    Prosvery fun at time and easy to meet people and athletes, discounts on shoes are a plus

    Consnot enough pay for someone out of college, hours are non existent unless you are in management.
