    Decent sales/retail experience.

Assistant Manager (Former Employee) Fargo, ND

ProsCommission, responsibility, hours, discount, casual dress code.

ConsProducts limit selling opportunities, culture, compensation

Advice to Senior ManagementGroom employees to become well rounded individuals with broadened spectrums(outside the gates of Finish Line). Don't abuse salaried employees and create that tunnel vision. It becomes a barrier for communicating with your consumer base.

    Good while it lasted

    Anonymous (Former Employee)

ProsJust about everything. Travel, vacation time, perks.

ConsMost DM really don't do their jobs until they are facing a terrible crisis. They believe wholeheartedly that it's harder to fire them than to fire a store manager or push the store manager in front of the bus first.

Advice to Senior ManagementHold your DM to your law and letter better.

    Fun and Refreshing

    Sales Associate/Stock Associate (Former Employee)

ProsThe relationships that the company emphasizes between employee and customer make the environment friendly and creates a relatively bright atmosphere

ConsThe work can get a little hectic around holidays and especially tax free days but the adjustment isn't hard to make it simply takes a little more effort to power through

Advice to Senior ManagementAs far as store management and inventory arrangement they are wonderfully organized and decently efficient but as far as management to employee relationships they were rather cold.
