    Pros

    Wonderful community within the organization

    Cons

Some management had to work with

  2. Typical Electronic Discovery Technology Company

    I worked at Fios full-time

    Pros

Office location, great coworkers, private offices. Was able to take trips to great cities with events. Loved spending time in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Las Vegas.

    Cons

Difficult industry to work in. Nobody *wants* to do electronic discovery, but it's a necessary part of the legal process. There can be a large learning curve for clients, which I think is frustrating for both parties involved.

  3. IT was long and tedious work but decent money

    Pros

You can make a living without much education or experience

    Cons

Long hours, boring job... Outside door to door sales.. When its cold out it is horrible!!

    Advice to Management

They should diversify into other sales stuff

    Pros

Brilliant people in staff. Very creative, but limited by CEO's inability to understand the clients and legal environment.

    Cons

Behind the times management, but company has since been purchased.

  6. Not sure of the future in this company due to buy out

I have been working at Fios full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some great talent including managers, very hardworking intelligent people. Used to have excellent benefits. Decent pay for this area.

    Cons

Used to have great benefits until buy out. New owner doesn't seem concerned about keeping current talent happy. Unsure of the future under new ownership. May be looking for work elsewhere now. Tended to overwork employees, may change now with more revenue.

    Advice to Management

Employees here would be hard to replace with their combination of intelligence, experience and dedication. Please rethink the changes in benefits and keep Fios more intact. We had a great work environment for the most part. I think people will be looking to move to other companies, destroying the hard work we have put in to become Fios.

    Pros

Interesting technical environment. Fast moving. Lack of standardization provides fun challenges. Good benefits overall.

    Cons

Hard to affect change outside your area. Constant "ON" and fire-fighting mode. Weekend work is a given. Limited career building opportunities. Internal drama can be fierce at times.

    Advice to Management

Pay could be more competitive. Provide fulltime staff for weekends and evenings, not just overwork current employees every single weekend.

  8. Fios - No it isn't Fiber Optic - It is circling the drain

    Pros

Good exposure to technology and the market as well as several bright individuals have passed through its halls. You can get hands on in a variety of areas related to e-discovery and the sales team has been outstanding.

    Cons

Delivery never delivers upon its promises, take for example batch printing promised in 2007 to a major automobile manufacturer was not delivered until 2009. Finger pointing is rampant and senior management overextended the company causing it to go into the red and forcing layoffs.

    Advice to Management

Sell the company while you can although I'm not sure anyone would still want to buy it as it is a shell of its former self and probably doesn't carry much value especially with its outdated technology. Management gambled and lost and the employees paid the price.
