I have been working at Fircroft as a contractor (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Fairly ok Benefits (Medical, Dental, 401K, etc)

    Cons

It is OK company, as far as you clearly understand your position. Normally you are hired by Fircroft, but contracted to some other company. There is no performance review, no salary increase option (unless you have a contract renewal and bring it up yourself). Also they do not provide any paid days off, meaning the national holidays are not paid either.

I have been working at Fircroft full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

This company has everything you could want. You can be open and candid with people and all ideas are accepted with an appreciation for the thought that they've inspired. This open atmosphere creates a trusting and beneficial culture inspiring true growth.

    Cons

With a sharp contrast to previous jobs I've had, there are few cons with Fircroft. The cons that exist can be addressed with open-mindedness and candid thoughts and will not be cons for long.

I have been working at Fircroft full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The best reason to work at fircroft is the PTO they offer - and you will need it.

    Cons

Terrible management, very hard to get pay increases, so go in high, processes are always changing, high turnover, benefits are not good if you have family, micro-management, and more

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of all management - they still haven't figured out how to do business in the US.

    Pros

Nice people, wiling to assist with issues

    Cons

Disconnected, seems like there is a fair amount of turn over

Implement an on boarding process that is specific to requirements of company that the contract employee will be working for.

    I worked at Fircroft full-time

    Pros

    The customers and contractors.
Type of recruiting (Oil & Gas)

    Cons

    Micro-manage
    Inflexible
    Uncomfortable working environment (chairs/furniture/back-to-back desks)
    Middle management is untrained
    No training
Loud and distracting office environment, open environment (no cubicles, nothing)
    Extremely high turnover among recruiters
Personal belongs (purses, gym bags, papers, folders, binders) can be found on the floor and in order to leave your desk you have to step over these items

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Train middle management
    Provide a professional setting
Provide ergonomic work space / work stations / cubicles

I worked at Fircroft full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

free tea and coffee that is all I can say I enjoyed about working at Fircroft. Oh they do have a free gym!

    Cons

HR department are a joke. They don't keep anything confidential. Management don't know the names of their own staff even after a year of working there. Freezing cold air conditioned open plan offices. Rewards are poor. No work life balance. Made to work till 9:30pm - 10pm some nights but no overtime paid. Hardly any female senior staff

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be a more child friendly company and consider peoples home lives. Equal pay for both sexes and have more females in senior roles.
