    I worked at Firehouse Subs

    Pros

This job was just a part-time position while I was going to school. It is an easy job. Not too stressful. Worth it for minimum wage. Small restaurant size, so you do not have much sq ft to clean. Very flexible with students, and you may be able to be trained in other positions (this depends on the owner).

    Cons

The only con is the pay. I wish minimum wage were a few dollars more, but the pay is expected when working a job like this. If you work at a store that has unsatisfactory management or team members the job can be stressful, but that is any place you work

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should behave the way that they would like the employees to behave. If management wants the employees to be happy and motivated, then managers have to be happy and motivating. Also, rules should apply to everyone. And, don't expect behavior that is not enforced.

I worked at Firehouse Subs part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    easy going environment, friendly people

    Cons

pay was low for everything we needed to know and learn on the job. managers got too much lee way when it came to being able to clock out to leave and what they did with their time. scheduling was always a hassle because it was the same crappy schedule for weeks, and they wouldn't remember if you asked them for a different shift or you wouldn't get the hours you wanted. and if you get stuck on night crew get comfortable because you're not going anywhere after that.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

up the pay to make it more worthwhile to stay.
