    Pros

Great communication with co-workers and interesting projects available from time to time.

    Cons

Timing was an issue to interact with senior management. Therefore, they have insufficient knowledge of everyday procedures.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management should acknowledge the working staff and give the promotion they deserve.

I have been working at First American International Bank full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

great working environment, everyone is friendly, low stress

    Cons

low pay, minimal benefit, no room for growth if your manager doesn't like you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

listen to your employee. Hire or promote someone who actually work and suit for the position. Promotion should not base on how long they have work in the bank. "Change" should start with the employees' work style not just the system.

I have been working at First American International Bank full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Typical friendly coworkers. Bank has low stress levels compared to other places like Citi, Chase, or BoA.

    Cons

Little opportunity for personal growth. Even less opportunity for career. If you want to climb, go to a different place then come back.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire the unproductive employees. There are people who've been there for a long time, but don't actually do their own work. Reward employee based on performance, not favorites.

I have been working at First American International Bank full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

It's relaxing with an a possibility of future growth. It seems to be on the verge of increasing in size but things are uncertain with the direction of the company.

    Cons

Since it is a community bank, it still has lots of room for growth with procedures and regulations.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Strict management will keep employees on the top of their performance level which providing incentives will also promote the same. Also, management seems more focused on daily operations than the overall direction of the company.

I have been working at First American International Bank

    Pros

Friendly working enviroment. Small company with under 200 employees. Successful private bank, however little room for growth. Bank looks out for their employees.

    Cons

Salaries and promotions are distributed unfairly. Health and retirement benefits are minimal. Procedures sometimes are done in an unprofessional manner.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please follow a better guideline as to how salaries and promotions are distributed rather giving them out by preference. Improve benefits.
