    Pros

    Everyone works together as a family, and it is a great place to have growth available within the company.

    Cons

    The shorted hours on Saturday make it inconvenient to plan things for the weekend.

    Is the second biggest bank in the island and the brand is recognize by the service

    Cons

    Unfortunately, the Human Resource Department as well as some high hierarchy Management Leaders are not role model of the company mission and vision.

    I worked at First Bank full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    They make sure you are trained really well before they let you do the job by yourself.
    They don't like gossip. Everyone very friendly. If you smoke, they allow you two smoke breaks as well as lunch. If you make an error, they will pull you into an office to discuss it rather than telling you at your desk, while the whole department listens. Good communication.

    Cons

    Ran out of work and expected to stay until your shift ended (most of the time for 2 hours).

    Compete against all the big guys - Wells, Bank of America, US Bank.

    Not a lot of bureaucracy.

    Cons

    The systems are a little backwards and the technology is so old fashioned.

    I have been working at First Bank part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    The employees are very nice and easy to work with and the management is amazing. They have a lot of training provided to their employees. Also, the customers are the kindest people ever, it makes going to work enjoyable.

    Cons

    Some employees/supervisors can be disorganized which makes it harder on other employees when they have to clean up the mess. But this is very minimal.

    Pros

    Off on weekends. Clients are awesome.

    Cons

    Upper management is extremely unethical. This bank is going to go under just like Cooperative Bank did a few years back. I would stay far, far away. Bank is only after the bottom line and doesnt truly care about helping the clients. If you have any sort of heart, not the place for you.

    Stop being so money hungry and focus on the clients.
