I have been working at First Crush Tastings

    Pros

The pay rate is high and employees can choose when and where they work. It is a great part time job.

    Cons

You are required to drive long distances to certain jobs at various locations. You will have an very vague work schedule to plan upon.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I wish a montly news letter from management would be sent communicating to all employees news and events associated with the company.

  2.

Probably the worst tasting/demo company I've worked for

I worked at First Crush Tastings as a contractor

    Pros

Flexible schedules - work when you want

    Cons

    Questionable local management
Highly political hiring/firing of contractors- not at all related to job performance
    Low-quality tasting reps (read above)
Openly violating labor laws - treating contractors like employees (giving them specific work hours and instructions on how to conduct the job which is illegal)
Lowest pay rate in the industry

    Unsatisfactory

I worked at First Crush Tastings

    Pros

Flexible hours, pay is comparable to others in industry

    Cons

Not enough compensation for travel time, subcontractors are not given enough feedback regarding their performance, subcontractors not treated respectfully, subcontractors have to pay for all products upfront for jobs and are reimbursed at a later date

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please supply sufficient compensation for travel time as many locations are out of the area, please give subcontractors specific feedback on their performance, Before letting go a subcontractor ,please supply them with a reason why their performance is unsatisfactory in sales or another area instead of sending them them a form letter with no specific reason.

I have been working at First Crush Tastings

    Pros

Pay is normal hourly rate in this industry. You work as a contractor so you work your own hours. Good communication with Management.

    Cons

Downside would be not enough hours. You need to be working for more than one Demo company in order to stay busy all month.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

For employees that have been with you for more than a year it would be nice to have some type of compensation for travel time.
