    Pros

The company is very family friendly. There was even a Sniffles and Snuggles facility for employees' mildly ill children to use as needed.

    Cons

There is not as much opportunity outside of Memphis metro region.

  2. Loved working with so many great people in the call center.

    Pros

Benefits are great, two weeks of vacation in the first year who ask for more.

    Cons

Although they gave eight weeks of training, a good portion of class room time was spent just chatting.

    Advice to Management

Oversee the in class training more so that the employee may get the most out of their training experience.

  3. A community-based bank that turned into just another cookie-cutter bank over time

    Pros

Good people, a chance to positively impact lives, a great place to learn the basics of the financial world

    Cons

Poor processes for skills development and career advancement, too much of a sales-metric focus, job promotion decisions are tied to internal politics, regional sales managers can be very unprofessional

    Advice to Management

Create more advanced training that allows your people to add financial sophistication to their skill set and take a better look at the way promotions and sales bonuses take place. Train regional managers better and perform 360 evaluations on them.

    Pros

Benefits, yearly appreciation banquets, fun work environment most times

    Cons

Constant changes, definitely look out for self and trust no one.

    Advice to Management

Opportunity is within the company just isn't offered and promoted much within

    Pros

The tuition reimbursement is great. Two weeks of paid vacation after six months. Benefits of a free checking account with all the perks. You'll get to know regular customers very well! Good opportunities to advance and get the higher pay. Want to hire internally rather than externally.

    Cons

The pay is HORRIBLE! New hires make more than experienced and long time employees. Raises are typically 10 cents a year.

    Advice to Management

There is no single source of information. We hear different things from different people. Please pay the tellers more!

    Pros

Management provided freedom to complete tasks without interference. It seemed they trusted the employee to get the job done. .

    Cons

There was difficulty getting regions established which created some discontent among those being affected by the regionalization.

    Pros

Great coworkers. Good people, who care.

    Cons

    Equal pay for equal work??

    Advice to Management

People should be paid fairly for hard work and loyalty. Also, employee training and development is not as good as it could be. It really depends on who your manager is.

Your expertise will be better utlized at another company. Moving to Pinnacle Financial Partners was my best decision.

    Pros

Many branches throughout Tennessee and a steady customer base to work with.

    Cons

Old antiquate systems are used. The pay is horrible. I can not say enough to keep you from wasting your talents with this company. There are so many better options. My best advice is just to explore you options.

    Advice to Management

You say employees are your top priority, but it is evident they are not.

  10. This was an excellent experience, and I certainly wouldn't mind continuing my career there for a while.

    Pros

    Cons

Collaboration among colleagues on different teams within same department

    Advice to Management

Have more outings to encourage relationships across areas

    Pros

Our culture is what sets us apart from other institutions, along with a great executive board that really values employees opinions and feedback.

    Cons

Getting a new system put into place has been a big challenge for about the last five years, and any systems that do make it in seem to not be fully ready and end up creating a bad experience for all involved, including customers.

    Advice to Management

I think more time needs to be spent weeding out any managers who may not truly have their employees best interests at heart and any who are not leading by good example.
