Its a great culture.
The experience you gain is very in depth.

Cons

It requires a sociable person and this could be a con if you are a person that does not like to socialize with your colleagues.
Its not a structured environment and if you are used to strict standard etc, you may find it hard to manage those your self.

Advice to Senior Management

RMB is a great place to work.
Keep on doing what you have been doing with regard to allowing employees their independence.
Try and encourage more adoption of standards with regard to technology and produce more documentation to avoid key man dependencies.

Cons

Beauracratic Management style. Quick to retrench and restructure without listening to alternatives. Senior Management are not held accountable for poor management and performance of respective departments. Unfair incentive scheme.

Advice to Senior Management

Have regular feedback sessions with staff to ensure that you know what is going on in the office. Request proposals from staff to ensure that you have a bigger picture when making decisions. Introduce alternative employment instead of retrenchment.
