I have been working at Fiserv Lending full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

local, casual dress code, generous paid time off days

    Cons

no set policy for working from home or remote, very low or no increases, despite great NOP no profit sharing, hires new employees at higher level than current employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

give better increases, allow good employees to work from home when needed without a hassle, consider profit sharing to the business units that bring in a good profit.

    I worked at Fiserv Lending

    Pros

Flexibility with work hours and opportunity to work-from-home when needed makes this company a good place to work. The benefits are decent.

    Cons

The industry is struggling so the company is, too. No salary increases in several years and raises are nearly impossible to come by. Morale is low and communication from senior manager to employee is lacking. At least one layoff a year for the past five years makes it an unstable place to work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The managers within the organization must live the stated corporate values. Effective communication and change management would help with some of the morale issues. Not sure this business unit is reflective of the corporation as a whole.

    I worked at Fiserv Lending

    Pros

Overall Fiserv is a good company to work for. Paid pretty well and decent benefits. Middle management was usually good to work for.

    Cons

Senior management lacks true leadership. Nobody makes decisions, usually done by committee. Fiserv overall has become a numbers only company. They continue to slash expenses and jobs to make bottom line numbers regardless of what the long-term impact on clients and employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate better with all levels of employees. You need to think long-term as opposed to only making your numbers to get your bonus.

    I worked at Fiserv Lending

    Pros

The company pays well. The location in South Bend has cut staff three times in recent years. When they are doing well, it is a reasonably good place to work.

    Cons

Fiserv will cut staff to show a profit. Layoffs have occurred three times since there was a total change in senior management. The latest was February 2009. Company-wide, layoffs also were in place 2008 and 2009.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want staff to be loyal, you need to show loyalty.

I have been working at Fiserv Lending full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    -Good Work Life Balance
-There is nothing else to mention really
-It used to be a good division few years back.

    Cons

-Bad management and team leads with no experience of managing teams.
-Lead from any technical background manages any other technical team. This has a bad effect on appraisals.
-Salary hike has not been very good over past few years.
-Large number of employees are leaving this division.
-Other divisions of Fiserv are doing well. But I would request not to join Loan Servicing Solutions(LSS) at Pune.
