    Pros

Good pay, good co-workers on my team.

    Cons

Poor cooperation between departments. Certain departments act as though they are superior to others, upper management definitely plays favorites among different departments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Figure out if you're going to operate as one company or not. Trim the organizational structure. Make it very clear who reports to whom and how work gets prioritized.

    Pros

Considerable opporunity to bring new ideas to the table.
Work with some great customers and travel to have face to face meetings with accounts and end users.
    Generally hire good managers.

    Cons

Not always the clear the direction of the company.
Strong focus on making inexpensive product to get short term wins.
Sticks with bad management too long and thus good talent leaves.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't let bad seeds stick around too long and control too much.
Just because the market has enjoyed some wins, it may not be a good indication of company direction.

    Pros

Engineering team was a pleasure to work with and had good knowledge.

    Cons

The management could not make decisions. They constantly changed processes so no results could be proven out before changes were made. The company did not communicate clearly or effectly on work assignment or what they expect from individuals. The company spent money at random.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Think before you act.
