A solid traditional ad agency with growing digital chops that's not sure what it wants to be when it grows up.

ProsGreat location.
People who have been there for a long time and get the culture.
New blood that is giving them a much needed boost in some areas.

ConsSome people have been there too long and are struggling to evolve.
There's no clear vision of how the agency is different than others.
Going through some cultural transition with new leadership -- not all good.

Fun office environment

I have been working at Fitzgerald+CO

ProsGreat people that are fun to work with, Everyone is young and friendly, There is an extremely relaxed work environment, A lot of opportunities for advancement

ConsWork environment is almost too relaxed so it is hard to be productive, There is a lot of drinking in the office, Employees are understaffed, Underpaid overworked, Crappy computers

Advice to Senior ManagementSomething needs to be done about the current low employee morale. "The economy is bad" isn't a valid excuse anymore, because now other agencies are hiring again and paying more.

Fitzgerald doesn't live up to anything.

ProsGood client list (brands), people can be fun and interesting to work with. Growing company that can do good work. Work environment is pleasant (physically). Part of IPG, with good benefits. Respected in Atlanta.

ConsSenior management is hypocritical. There is no honesty in communication. There is rampant favoritism. It is shockingly juvenile in terms of employee interaction at times (very cliquish, classist, racist, bigoted). Client list is good, but actual clients are difficult to work with. Agency is territorial and combative in nature.

Advice to Senior ManagementWalk the walk to mach your talk. Be less judgemental, frankly, get off your high horse. Meeting the Pope does not give you absolution for your sins.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
