I have been working at FiveTen Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You are not micro-managed and once you have proven yourself you are given the autonomy to make decisions that make a genuine impact. Very strong support functions.

    Cons

It’s an exciting challenge rather than a con however the scale and complexity of the FiveTen Group matrix does require a lot of graft to excel.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to support the people in the business that could be future leaders.

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

    Cons

Do you read Dilbert? Lots of pointy haired bosses

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Salary and benefits were pretty good - mainly to persuade people to stay

    I worked at FiveTen Group

    Pros

Global brand, mobility opportunities, potential to join new markets / sectors, large scale recruitment firm that has kept its individual Brands under the Fiveten umbrella.

    Cons

Venture capital buyout and newly merged company, at the time lacked leadership and strategic direction. Moving towards a Hudson business model, whether that is good or bad is a matter of opinion.

I have been working at FiveTen Group

    Pros

Great name in the market and lots of really good support from the senior staff. An great place to start your career

    Cons

I dont think there really is a downside to working with WH Marks Sattin. The hours are very similar to most recruitment companies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I really enjoy the work at WH Marks Sattin and dont think is very much that can or needs to be changed

    I worked at FiveTen Group

    Pros

there was a good scheme to reward top billers by trips to vegas and other places which was pretty good.

    Cons

very poorly managed teams with the manegement gettign promoted into roles more by who they drink with. Most managers moved teams so didn't have any experience dealing with specific sectors.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

offer leadership programs for people within the teams and promote in the teams. also distance yourself from the after work drinks to stop the clique.

    I worked at FiveTen Group

    Pros

Its rreally good fun for graduates, with definately a big emphasis on the social side. Very young, fun atmopshere and easy to make friends

    Cons

The place is a complete boys club- the men get promoted based on who they drink with in the pub and not based on any competence on their part. Unprofessional management, very 'cowboy' approach to their work. Would not recommend to anyone who took their career seriously.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a look at the competition - there is a reason staff turnover is so high. No value whatsoever is placed into decent employees.
