Current Employee – been working at Fives Group
Pros – Fives North American provides great opportunities to learn. Highly experienced and knowledgable employees actively work to transfer knowledge to and train others. It's informal, but effective.
If you have the skills and are will to accept the responsibility, you be given many opportunities to work on, and complete, meaningful tasks and projects. Projects will take advantage of your strengths and skills, but will also push you to seek solutions beyond your current experience. Guidance is provided as needed by managers, executives and functional area experts.
The management philosophy expects excellence but also treats everyone fairly. Management is very open and forthcoming about corporate goals, initiatives and expectations.
Cons – Shallow management structure limits opportunities to move up in the ranks.
Advice to Senior Management – Priorities get shifted a little too often, making it harder to focus on and complete projects that have already been started.
