    Pros

Was a wonderful job for 34 years but they are currently getting rid of employees who have been there a long time, to employ a new younger group of people with no experience.

    Cons

working with supervisors who tell every other employees business is not the kind of place I want to work for.

    Advice to Management

    HIPPA compliance and discreetness

    Pros

Close proximity to home and that is about it.

    Cons

Pay is below average for the "richest" county in Florida, does not meet cost of living in St. Johns County. Poorer counties have better pay. New uncomfortable, and itchy "uniforms".

    Pros

    Close to home, nice location

    Cons

Where do I begin? No raises for nurses, ever! They keep losing qualified nurses to other hospitals due to lack of respect and low pay. Employees voice concerns to management for years with no results.

    Advice to Management

Do a market analysis and pay what you should be paying nurses. The hospital is going to lose all experienced nurses to other facilities. WAKE UP!!!!!!

    Pros

At first, company seems to care about it's employees and seems family oriented.

    Cons

What "seems" isn't always reality and certainly isn't in the case of Flagler Hospital. Good ole boy (or mostly in this employer's case, Good Ole Girl clearly describes the environment. People are clearly shown preferential treatment if they are in the "in" group. For example, the same employees can not show up for work repeatedly and barely even be given a warning while another employee who has good performance appraisals is let go after only been absent from work 1x. Some persons just because they may cozy up to that department manager, are given special schedules while others not so cozy just have to suck it up. Honestly, just not professionally run and would be concerned about a family member staying there for this reason.

    Advice to Management

See the err of your ways and change for the better.

    Pros

    Great co workers, family friendly

    Cons

Senior management to mid management are the worse here. Strong nepotism, unequal rights for employees, unethical practice of religion in the business place.

    Advice to Management

Clean your house up starting from the top to the bottom. Management needs major change!
