I have been working at FleishmanHillard full-time for more than a year

    Pros

FleishmanHillard defines the phrase "open door policy." From interns to Senior Partners, everyone is on the same team with the same ambitions: furthering their client's success. The culture is nothing but welcoming, and the work continues to become more exciting.

    Cons

If you don't work hard and put in 100% effort, you won't receive 100% effort back in the form of professional development. Some would say this is a "pro."

    Pros

FleishmanHillard does a great job of building a collaborative culture, consisting of driven/creative team members who love to do great work for their Clients.

    Cons

work-life balance can get out of whack as FleishmanHillard is slow to staff up with new business, which puts a pinch on existing staff. Compensation seems average compared to other competitors.

Worse experience I have ever had working for a company and so glad I left. Best decision made!

I worked at FleishmanHillard full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Can't think of any positive feedback for this company......other than the weekly treat cart!

    Cons

Executive leader/member, very challenging, rude and does not know how to communicate with those who assist them. Just not appropriate business management skills. Gone through several help in a short period of time, you would think those leaders over that individual, would realize their own is the problem. If the individuals whom keep coming into the position keep changing, but the one executive does not, it's a no-brainer on where the issue lies.....as all those coming in the position can't be the same!

I worked at FleishmanHillard as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

My time at FH was overall a good learning experience. As a creative intern, I was able to work on projects for big corporate clients and gain experience with the technical side of sharing creative assets. I worked with teams and senior-level creatives to cultivate design solutions while adhering to strict brand standard guidelines, an important skill that I will apply to jobs for the rest of my career. FH also had fun extras for interns including information sessions on skill sets and aspects of FH, weekly snacks, monthly birthday celebrations, and other random rewards.

    Cons

At times I felt like a design secretary. This is not a place for someone who is really looking to grow creatively. They want you to do the bare minimum, bill the maximum, and move on. No time to fuss with details or explore solutions. Art directors spoke negatively of each other behind backs and couldn't agree on creative direction. My creative intern coordinator did not even have a final meeting with me as my internship ended.

I have been working at FleishmanHillard full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Big clients, "You must enter at least 5 words for Pros." <-- gimme a break.

    Cons

Promotions/Raises are rare for low levels. You'll get a title change every year, but dont expect a raise, and if you do get one dont expect much. Christmas bonuses are a joke, its only about $100 per person. They seem to hire a lot of pretty faces who dont know what they're talking about. For some reason they hire a lot of people to do this "social media monitoring" thing. Those people think their jobs are important, but they sit around talking about TV shows and weddings all day and barely do any work. Pretty annoying.
