    Pros

Autonomy and travel were a plus.

    Cons

Second guessing and insane levels of clearance for simple change management things. Watch your back from site techs!

    Advice to Management

Maybe interview an entire site at once, then separate. There are people with agendas in the mix.

    Pros

Flex is always striving to improve the process, to make it safer, and easier. They give EVERY employee a chance to show what they have, and reward with opportunities to improve themselves. The only limitations for Flex is your drive and motivation. You can go as far as you want.

    Cons

I became an employee of Flex in 2007 when they purchased of plant. I've had several opportunities to leave, once for better pay, but I stayed. I can not think of any Cons for Flex.

    Advice to Management

Keep buying and investing, this company is what the American dream is all about.

    Pros

Good pay for people with no education. Health, dental, vision, 401k and vacation pay. Aprenship oppertunities to those who will sign there lives away for the next 8 years. Or pay them back.

    Cons

You will have to work everyday in super hot, fast pace, dangerous and stressfull work environments. They never tell you when your working over your scheduled shift till 5 mins before your supposed to go home. You will have one supervisor tell you to do something then another supervisor tell you to do something different, it's a lose lose situation because no matter which one you listen to the other one is going to right you up. If you get hurt at work whether it's an accident or a fault of an uneducated supervisor, the company will do anything in there power to make your life as uncomfortable and inconvenient as possible. They won't repremand supervisors that don't follow your work restrictions put in place by their own shop doctors, instead they harrass and retaliate against you for even mentioning to their boss that they are not following your work restrictions. Your supervisors will remind you on a daily basis that factory workers are all dime a dozen and that you can be replaced the next day. We are all worthless to them were are only numbers to them not people. HR is supposed to be the middle man between the company and the union to come to agreements and your supervisors will tell you to your face that HR is their union and it definitely shows to be true. Don't work for flex n gate (Ventra) unless you want to die young. They don't follow to many of oshas laws. They prefer to do things the cheap way even if it could cost you your life.

    Advice to Management

Start being more fair to us, it's a small world out there. What goes around comes around, someday you could be in our shoes. Know that god is watching you and listening to the way to treat others. Follow the rules of the union contract and you would have much happier workers, which means and better work ethics from your employees.

    Pros

nothing other than some of the co-workers were nice.

    Cons

each upper management at the vp level and their organization has their own agenda. No collaboration among them for a one team or one company direction. A US company being driven by a Canadian team that has no understanding of USA laws. Several situations where a VP or plant director should have been disciplined if not terminated for the actions and upper management including HR VP response is to discipline the person trying fix the situation or reign in the in-experienced person in management. CEO has no real knowledge of what is going on with his staff as he only gets the Rosie glasses picture.

    Advice to Management

Hire more women in management and minorities. Hire more americans that understand the culture, local laws and don't have a fear of training or disciplining those in management who just don't or can't get it. treat everyone equally (salary & hourly) when it comes to discipline. Management is not always right nor do they always know the right way of doing things.
