Shady sales process, Pushy managers who want you to follow a script that don't know much about sales.

I have been working at Flexi compras

    Pros

Pay is ok. Not having to work Sunday is good.

    Cons

Management/employees overworked. Promises are never kept. They say you can ask for time off but PTO only useable after a year of working there and only if you get it approved by upper management. Still waiting for bonus we were promised for staying while new owners transition in. Has a good ol boy system in place. Ive seen a couple managers yell and cuss out employees/flat out abusive and once in front of a customer. Seems like we are always training new employees because off the high turnover.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't put people in your dog house right away and mistreat employees just because they don't answer their phone on a their day off. Some management have great selling skills but have no clue as how to care for their employees. Its only about what's in it for them.

As a salary employee they will work you close to 80 hrs a week to rather than hiring a part timer for assistance.

I worked at Flexi compras full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Plenty of customers in the stores that create an opportunity to sell Flexi financing.

    Cons

Business model doesn't work because the prices are too low and returned products cannot be released inside of the retail locations.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get more involvement from the field employees when making major business decisions. Don't grow so fast that people are depleted in the stores.

    A joke

    I worked at Flexi compras

    Pros

The associates and co-workers made it tolerable. A steady paycheck if you stay employed. Not much after that.

    Cons

Consistently changing policies weekly. With changes the customers and staff were left holding the bag. District Mgr was nonexistent and would show at the store once every 2 months writing people up to cover himself. Constant threats of losing employment were often. Promises of bonus were done away. Overtime was eliminated. Having to strech 3 employees to cover a 7 day work week. No wonder they have a 240% turnover ratio. Its no surprise to see them shutting down

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Visit the store

    Company picnics and Christmas parties
An open door environment where ideas are encouraged

    Cons

    Long hours
    Constant change of company direction

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Develop processes and procedures before implementing a complete operational change.
