I have been working at Flextronics full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Lots of work if you like to stay busy. Planning for manufacturing can be shoddy so overtime is abundant
Cons – Supervisors and management need to appreciate their employees much more. The company lacks discipline on every level including upper management where ops managers are screaming and swearing to get their point across.
Advice to Senior Management – No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

I worked at Flextronics full-time for more than a year
Pros – Sometimes interacting with customers was nice.
When it was busy, time seemed to fly by.
Learning about all the new phones was interesting, somewhat.
Cons – Management expects you to sell tons of accessories even when there are no customers. If I saw 10 customers that day, management would come up to me and ask "why didn't you hit your target of 10 sold accessories?" They would criticize you and pressure you even when it would be impossible to hit their targets.
Advice to Senior Management – Part of my job might have been to sell accessories, but my primary job was to help customers get their phones replaced. When there's a line a dozen people long, do you really want me to pester a person for 5 minutes selling them accessories, and make the customers more dissatisfied? When I did that (at times), you were angry because the customers were getting upset!
Bottom line: Try to look at the situation and figure out what your priorities are and what you really expect from your employees. Have realistic expectations.

I worked at Flextronics
Pros – Pay was acceptable if you have previous experience.
Cons – Bad organization from management. If lucky and get promoted, money does not compensate many responsabiities.
Advice to Senior Management – The RTS division needs major improvements.

I have been working at Flextronics
Pros – Holidays paid time and a half, health insurance is good compared to other companies, great way to build up your resume, a lot of time typing on the computer makes your hands speedy. Nice co-workers.
Cons – Unable to use cellphone at any time, training is very poor, and usually things have to be figured out between you and your co-workers, do not expect a raise, expect working standing up in on place, expect angry customers, expect to have vacations denied, expect to be short staffed, your best will never be their best
Advice to Senior Management – Raises, promotions to the hard workers, not the most likable, better hours, better training, actually open devices, teach people how to actually troubleshoot issues. Do not come up with a new program and change it after 2 or 3 weeks, actually work on it. Work with ATT to have smarter solutions, not just for the moment solutions.

I have been working at Flextronics
Pros – I cannot describe the best reasons however you can meet good people there
Cons – EMS mentality and culture doesn't encourage professional and personal growth.
Advice to Senior Management – Think out of the box, look.... there are many smart people around who can recognize and make a difference between a strategy without future and a future without a strategy

-Very little to no room for growth.
-NO raises
-Policy changes on the fly.
-There's a huge lack of communication within the company.
-Sense of favoritism within the workplace.
-No boost in employee morale.
-Employees are required to sell Asurion's insurance for AT&T with no commission.
