I have been working at Flextronics full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The have an excellent package of benefits (dinner, insurance, food stamps, savings fund, ETC.) depending on your manager but particulary mine was an excellent leader with great people skills,

    Cons

No Training at all, they expect you to know an perform your job even if this is your first job as an engineer. You will always work more than 48 hrs a week, workload is amazing and stressful.

    Advice to Management

No advice to my Manager, but in general for management: they need to focus more on people than on numbers, overload job is a very common thing, dont expect to have the best results if you keep people with more job than what they can take.

I have been working at Flextronics (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Very fast pace operation. Exposure to many different projects, and products.

    Cons

Contract manufacturing is sometimes difficult, especially when most of the customers typically have different rules for engagement of their product, and processes. Overall though, it has been a very good company to work for. You are able to go as far as your drive will take you to learn new skills and practices.
