I have been working at Florida Bar Association full-time

    Pros

Great people to work with. Wonderful benefits: health, dental, pension plan, annual bonus, PTO, paid personal holidays, and paid holidays. Fun annual events.

    Cons

There are no real cons. The purpose is to serve the members. It is a great place to work and a good college job.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. Continue to stress the importance of training and educating the employees.

I have been working at Florida Bar Association part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice co-workers, and a very nice place to work. From the upper level management on down, people are very cordial and friendly.

    Cons

It's more of a small and quiet environment, personally I prefer something a little more busy.

I worked at Florida Bar Association part-time

    Pros

Friendly people. Managers always willing to help. Fridays are casual dress days. Nice place to work.

    Cons

Lawyers you deal with can be rude. However the people in the offices are very nice. Don't let the lawyers get to you.

    Advice to Management

Keppp doing what you are doing!

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Florida Bar Association full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent place to work with great benefits. Awesome coworkers. Opportunities to move up and learn (training in several areas is provided).

    Cons

Can't think of any right now. I heard people from other departments complaining about their bosses or supervisor, however, I always had a great work experience.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work. Maybe some review in certain departments will be helpful to create a nice working environment for all employees.

    Pros

    - A high level of recognizing employees when they do good work but generally only in terms of telling them they're doing good instead of tactile rewards.

    Cons

    - A lot of the employees seemingly do very little while others are able to slack off. If you pick up the slack, you're rewarded, but again, only verbally.

    Advice to Management

There should be more time focused on seeing who is doing what in terms of quantity and quality of work.
