Pros – Excellent work/life balance. Excellent retirement benefits: employer matched 401(k) plus retirement plan. Computer purchase program, pays for training every other year, Provides developers with the best development tools available. Employer subsidized cafeteria.
Cons – The software development team I worked on operated in stark opposition to nearly every best practice. Not concerned with quality in the least. Decisions based on emotion rather than logic or even common sense. Inexperienced and unstable management.
Advice to Senior Management – Hire experienced and stable persons only into management positions. Your employees actually have to work for them.

Pros – Great company to begin an insurance career. Adjusters receive a lot of responsibility and automony.
Cons – No a place to build a career. There is a flat management structure with little room for advancement or professional growth.
Advice to Senior Management – Think more progressively rather than sticking with the status quo.
