I worked at Florida Hospital Heartland as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

Everyone there was very friendly and professional, and were also very helpful in teaching me about working in the IT field.

    Cons

There were some instances where it seems like upper management did not communicate clearly (or at all for that matter) with our department about projects they were planning. As a result, we would have to organize everything on a short notice.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more organized and work on communicating more effectively.

Difficult location to recruit and retain staff due to a rural community, limited formal education opportunities in the community, Poor reimbursement requires us to work harder.
