    Pros

It was pretty easy, I was part of retail after all.

    Cons

    SO much. So so much.

The sales goals are so ridiculous that it's almost impossible to get commission. The quality of their jewelry is not worthy of their prices, and they refuse to see this. They also don't understand the american market and should focus on Europe and Asia.

    Advice to Management

You could have the best sales people, but if your earrings tarnish that's on YOU.

I have been working at Folli Follie

    Pros

Approachable team members, great office environment, friendly and bubbly staff

    Cons

Work more on Office culture, Teams are too segregated

    Pros

Smart owners, know how to operate their business.

    Cons

Family-style micro managed business; like to hire professionals from outside fields but unwillingness to trust managers to make the management decisions. High senior management turnover.

    Advice to Management

Provide training to staff to develop their professional skills and internal promotions

    Pros

Sales assistants are normally very nice

A nice amount of responsibility is given to senior sales e.g closing and opening the store

    Cons

Every week Sales and Senior Sales assistants are set the painful task of cycle count which is when you are tasked to count every single item of Jewelry - This is in addition to the BI ANNUAL stock take of all items.

From the role of supervisor you spend more time in the back office then you do the shop floor, answering emails and working out statistics that I have never been expected to do before

Constant pressure is passed down in a line to sales assistants running from the Retail Director.

No recognition for making good sales

    Poor Staff Benefits

    Low Staff Morale

If you are legitimately ill you are expected to work - I was in hospital when I called up and they asked me to leave to come to work. I was giving them 4 hours notices.

Poor Salary but expected to do more than what the job should entail.

    Poorly fitted shop and unappealing

poorly organised and rota was always changed without warning

    Advice to Management

    Better organisation
    Less pressure on sales associates
Less emphasis on conversion more on selling
