    ConsDealing with people frustration of having bad feet, knees and back. And worse seeing the worse of of medical profession (doctor's surgeons and big hospitals greed resulted in permanent damage and deformity to many patients) specially when you been taught Doctors should know what is best for your health and should advice you that!

    At one time, FS Corp had its best foot forward but after upsizing, its "sole" seemed to step down.

    ProsStarted out a great place to work. Medical benefits were ok & holiday/sick pay grew with time invested. Morale was even great all around at one time. Discounted/free shoes & foot products were a definite plus. Adding HR dept was a huge step in the right direction.
    Some of the people who worked there showed a true passion for the company and its purpose.
    Many of the store owners & employees made a lasting impression. There was rarely a slow day.

    ConsPeople who r loyal, work hard & perform their job better than clueless people in charge, often train their replacement just before they get the boot.
    Impersonal power player execs with micro manager policies barking "just do it" orders to 2 midway mgmt that just mimic orders to bottom level workers with no idea how/if its even possible was a daily challenge
    Quarterly bonuses held back & kept quiet, later being excused by generic no bonus letter attached to paychecks.
    Hours subtracted from salary pay & no paid overtime... and SALARY CAPS!

    Advice to Senior ManagementHire from within. Stay away from fast talking executives that just blow smoke. Stop creating middle man jobs and promote people who know what's up and believe in the products!
    Treat franchisees and lower level employees with more respect. THEY PAVE THE WAY TO FS SUCCESS

    ProsVery consultative job which requires a lot of one on one interaction with the customer. One can learn a lot about the foot and the application of orthopedic footwear

    ConsOften times dealing with people who are not flexible with the styles and are more concerned with the style are very frustrating to deal with.

    Advice to Senior ManagementThis is a franchise so every location is run by a different owner. The owner I work for is fantastic and seems to have a firm grasp on what he needs to do.
