    Pros

If you enjoy fast fashion this is the place for you. One of the best retailers for following trends and top designers.

    Cons

The corporate direction often contradicts it's self. The company demands working long hours around the holiday season and during black out dates.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Managers train well. They help you get to where you want to go.

    Cons

Managers tend to talk poorly upon other employees. Not enough recognition on good work.

I worked at Forever 21 full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

You get to meet a lot of great and unique people.
A job with Forever 21 will definitely challenge you to grow personally and professionally.
The atmosphere is upbeat, the music is great.

    Cons

High School drama environment, there is a lot of favoritism and extremely low employee appreciation. The training provided is insufficient while the expectations are unrealistic at times. There are some employees who have been there for years and get away with a lot. I have seen managers targeting certain employees just because they didn't like them or they didn't think they were "cute enough". There is always a small handful of really hard working employees who are getting screwed over with their pay, and a bigger handful of other employees who are lazy and don't put in any effort while still getting paid a lot more. Payroll was always an issue so employees were always getting their hours cut. Employees were treated as if they were disposable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Apply more emphasis on the importance of training and designating more time for it in stores. Develop a manager evaluation program where lower position employees can rate their own management staff and offer feedback to improve manager/ employee relations and boost the performance of the store by creating a more open team environment.

    I worked at Forever 21

    Pros

    Cute clothes
It's a good job to have if you're in high school I guess but I was in college paying rent it wasn't enough unless I worked overtime
Had some amazing co workers still close to this day
I had fun helping customers pick out outfits
It's cool to say you work at Forever 21 since pretty much every girl shops there

    Cons

They will over work you !
The pay pretty much sucks but you can get a raise after a year up to like .75 cents
Long hours latest I stayed one night was till like 2am doing a regular shift (I also did overnight shifts which were a little better)
Dirty customers, you fix the clothes & someone comes and messes it up (holidays & Saturday's were the worst)
You need to have a lot of patience ...
The discount is only %10 which is terrible
You can't wear shorts above the knees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Some of my managers were rude ..had bad attitudes ..did not sympathize ... & expected too much
