    Pros

Great People, Great Compensation, friendly work environment. If you like smaller, growth companies this might be a fit for you.

    Cons

Not as organized as it should be, work in progress....many processes have to be created from scratch or heavily modified to be effective.

    Pros

The company has great products and good people. Work life balance is not bad.

    Cons

Growth is primarily through acquisitions and not systemic. The core drilling company is clearly favored over the acquisitions. IT is young and turnover is high. Most of IT has only been with the company 6 months or less. Like a lot of oil company suppliers, the slump in crude oil prices has caused many layoffs.

    Advice to Management

Focus on consolidating and stabilizing your business systems.

    Pros

Good place to have your foot in the door. Able to advance with commitment and hard work. Good benefit packages and overtime. Company allows workers to attend school while maintaining certain amount of work hours per week

    Cons

Most supervisors show favoritism. Company has a low and unfair pay rate to workers including bonus. Some supervisors and management tend to stay unprofessional

    Advice to Management

Acknowledge the hard workers and weed out the lazy ones.

    Cons

Management, corporate doesn't care about employees. Management is unorganized. Employees are treated like pawns. Laying off then giving very poor severance. You don't advance for skill it's who you know.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Solid work ethic will result in stability at this company.

    Cons

Organizational structure is relatively flat, advancement into Director level roles and above is very difficult.

    Advice to Management

Develop banding or "classes" of roles beneath the Director level to allow for career progression at all levels (e.g.- Buyer I, Buyer II, etc.)
