I worked at Foster's Freeze part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The only good thing about working here was the lovely family's and senior citizens that came in on a Daily basis.

    Cons

Wasn't ever paid on time, no pay stubs, very unprofessional and corrupt company. They lied to costumers on many occasions to save themselves money and the management there is horrible. This company and the people in ownership of it do not care for any of their costumers or even their workers. They took advantage of me and many other works and broke tons of laws while doing it. I will be reporting them to WC

    Advice to Management

I wasn't even paid on time, I wasn't give a pay roll sheet, i was only ever given a 10 minute break even after working for 6 hours. Very very corrupt place

I have been working at Foster's Freeze part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Cool coworkers, very fun people to work around, love the customers..most of the time lol

    Cons

TERRIBLE hours, you'll get like 12 hours a week unless you're a supervisor or a manager, in which case you work as much as you want to. Some customers are a little grumpy for no good reason, as to be expected in a job dealing with customer service. Company is slowly dying and isn't really a major corporate chain, so you definitely don't be getting good hours or pay, no room to move up in the company.

    Advice to Management

Expand to different locations, try not to have the stores owned by so many different people and try to give more opportunities for advancement.

I worked at Foster's Freeze part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Fun place to work with very flexible scheduling. The work is easy to learn but there is always something to keep yourself occupied with.

    Cons

Family owned, very lax about following through with plans for employees. Organizational/structural/functional changes constantly, hard to keep up with consistently.

    Advice to Management

Scheduled performance reviews! Some sort of timeline for employees to advance.
