Pros
Free beer (slab) every fortnight
Cons
It's an archaic, siloed structure with little alignment around core values or focus for individual businesses making execution difficult of anything sizeable a big challenge.
Advice to Senior Management
Sort out your culture and corporate alignment. It's not just the IT systems that make doing business with Foster's difficult, it's a lack of focus on the customer and what's best for our shareholders.
Pros
The brands and people. Good place socially
Cons
Political and senior mgt. Resistance to change
Advice to Senior Management
Get a new ceo
Pros
Great product benefits
If you get the right project, great opportunities
Cons
Overly political for it's size
Same levels of justification required for small and large spends
"Immature" environment around governance, IT, risk, etc
Advice to Senior Management
Don't believe everything your reports tell you. There is more managing upwards than downwards happening in various parts of the business.
