Unhealthy combination of speed and quality management Advice to Management 1. Build some hierarchy in the system and a clear escalation mechanism 2. Advice to Management

Srikanth its a humble request to you. please try to retain people don't let them go. We remember u spoke last time about it is 2% of resume gets shortlisted so we have so many good hires in the company who are leaving and we dont think Fractal will get this Talent in future. We are facing huge shortage of talent in projects since earlier analyst were trained and projects were getting executed wonderfully now we think we should take a step forward and try to listen to issues Analyst and SA issues. We dont think salary is a huge factor in attrition. I think senior management is not taking this attrition seriously. You should have a meeting with APEX team now to get to the reason for attrition. 60+ resignation we remember you spoke when you was in Gurgaon. Please Srikanth do something about this. We will face lot issues going forward in getting the right talent for the client we are acquiring forward. Don't let people quit.Solve the issues and try to retain them Now We think we are people letting go

I have been working at Fractal Analytics full-time

    Pros

Used to be one of the Best organizations to work, currently in a downtrend. Still retains the DNA but needs to get its act together fast to stop the rot

    Cons

Less Projects, which leads to massive under utilization of current employees. People are hired externally with internal employees not getting adequate projects or opportunities. Current employees pay the price of this mismanagement with instability in their careers and their variable cut out.

    Advice to Management

    1. Please utilize the internal workforce to the best , before hiring externally. 2. Example other organizations promote internally. Please offer Apex/ SC Opportunities to internal people before going on externally to hire.(Best Retention Tool of various organizations).

    Pros

Exposure to different type of Project . CEO inclination towards employee growth and satisfaction.Very good place to learn if one wants to learn visualization and reporting.Emphasis on training

    Cons

No clear view where the company will be after 1 year. Weak Sales team so shortage of Project.

I worked at Fractal Analytics full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    1. Friendly colleagues 2. Some dedicated analysts 3. Helpful admin and IT department but always overburdened

    Cons

    1. The top management think that because attrition and client losses have happened in the past it is not something to worry about. Good people leave. People who can't find a job anywhere else are left. 2. There is no match what Fractal has capability to do and the work that has to be done. Sales folks say yes to all client requests. Analysts suffer having to do impossible tasks in crazy timeframes with little or no manager guidance. Managers are only available to take credit. 3. Some people work 14-18 hours a day. Many people come in after 12 and leave by 6. Even some top management (SVP and VP level) contribute nothing but just talk and talk and talk. 4. Spends money on air tickets but can't give its analysts a raise. 5. Takes on random clients for short projects and calls them logo wins. 6. Worst HR department. Never ever helpful for anything. There is zero long term plan. Most decisions are completely random and replaced by more random decisions. Fractal is alive because of sheer luck.

    Advice to Management

Subject top management to objective performance reviews. Should try to understand what is important in the company and what is not.

I have been working at Fractal Analytics full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

. culture of trust and transparency . highly accessible top management team (exec) . Srikanth's leadership and vision . increasing emphasis on measuring things that matter . new client wins, but need to win much more

    Cons

    - HR MUST get out of their seats from behind their laptop screens and try to genuinely connect with people. This is for all levels in HR , top to bottom. Very few business partners are effective. - middle seating issues. Can we expand office or make some smart rearrangements. We have run out of space

    Advice to Management

Keep up the focus on metrics and growth. Fix HR issues.

I have been working at Fractal Analytics full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1. Work Life balance is excellent. 2. CEO is very inspiring. One of the major points why I am in this company is due to his vision. 3. Good for fresher's. There is a lot of learning scope. 4. Flexible timings. 5. Employee freedom.(After a particular level) 6. People's Principals 7. Food and snacks for employees. 8. Talented people but in limited quantities Overall the company takes a lot of care of their employees and try to makes sure that they are comfortable at work. Once a fractilite always a fractalite.

    Cons

    1. Big pay differences between IIT and other colleges due to which talented people don't get their due. Hope they work on this and fix this so that current employees remain motivated. People should be judged on talent and not "Campus". 2. Space crunch in Gurgaon office. 3. Middle management is not worried about the projects and don't bother to check with others about the same.( Exceptions are always there). 4. Very few projects are analytics based. 5. Mis use of people principal is very much there. 6. Its been a while since company has been there but some aspects still remain like that of start up.

    Advice to Management

    1. Talent should be given more importance than campus. 2. CEO is a great leader and hope middle management support him in his vision. 3. CEO should have more connect with Analysts and SA atleast once a year to know their problems. A personal interaction would be great. 4. A suggestion box where employees can put in their ideas and suggestions. 5. Please provide employees with better trainings to keep up with technology. Srikanth is doing a great job. Keep taking fractal to greater heights.
