    Pros

Excellent atmosphere Decent Hours Creative, engaging work experience. You get a lot of visual merchandising experience especially as management. Weekly management meetings are always encouraging New Store Opening program for Managers was great

    Cons

I loved working there, the cons were minimal. It's what you would expect in retail (the occasional unhappy customer or staff member; a call out where you need to cover the shift the hourly couldn't come in for, etc) The higher ups are friendly and helpful and encouraged creativity from each of their employees.

    Advice to Management

Keep with the original structure of allowing managers to merchandise their store their own way. many publicly owned corporate companies end up creating planograms that each store needs to follow and they lose the unique atmosphere they once had.

    Pros

Good discount for managers and above

    Cons

Growing too big too fast. trying to cut money via payroll for comping stores and upper management. Let the stores grow their business instead of saturating the market with stores within 2 miles of each other.

    Pros

Most customers are very sweet, decent hours, lovely co-workers, fun and exciting environment with liberty to wear cute outfits!

    Cons

Difficult to move up, SUPER uncompetitive pay, doesn't appreciate their employees

    Advice to Management

Offer bonuses and raises to those who truly put hard work in. Make sure you stay on top of those who are under you, in-store management doesn't always follow through with expectations as managers.

    Pros

Youthful, energy-filled working environment with many opportunities to be promoted from within.

    Cons

Rapidly expanding company with some growing pains. Some operational activities seemed chaotic and last minute. Not always efficient.

    Advice to Management

Allow managers more freedom in scheduling/hiring. Organize operational tasks a little more ahead of time.

    Pros

Very comfortable environment to work for.

    Cons

Hours seem to vary, at time I will only work 10hrs/week. It is not enough for a part-time job.

    Advice to Management

My manager is amazing, but the amount of hours that she is limited is not because of her so i hold no resentment for her. she does an amazing job and works hard.

    Pros

Small amount of employees, close relationship with managers, and employees. Pay is weekly which Is awesome. Trust within stores. Employee discount is ok... Clothes are still expensive despite discount

    Cons

Only get promoted if the manager likes you, despite your numbers, or work ethic. Following in other companies footsteps forcing all stores to look alike, ruining the boutique feel. Took away the bonus program for key holders and employees, even though key holders are a MAJOR part in pushing sales. The promise is getting out of control. If you want your store clean and organized don't expect the promise to be how you want it. Also not enough payroll for the amount of things needed done. Destroying MOS jewelry or clothing with could be donated.

    Advice to Management

Stop picking favorites, a hard worker is a hard worker whether you like them or not. Don't lose the boutique feel.

    Pros

Small work life, which makes getting to know your co- worker easy. Smaller store makes it very easy to maintain and do the floorset with.

    Cons

Upper management have no real concept on time management. The company is trying very hard to pull itself together, however there is no real directions. Things change far too often. The turn over in this company is unreal. I have ever seen such a hard time not only being able to recruit employees, but also keep them.

    Advice to Management

You want to pay little, which can be fine. However you must realize that you will not be able to get people who have been working in retail for years to come to you. You need to pick those who may not have retail work history, but want it, ask more behavioral questions in the interviews to determine if they can play a part in management. Also if you're not going to pay top dollar make the employee discount 50%

    Pros

I love working here because the company has so many great standards. They train you the best they can and do a great job at it. Great sales discount, I love my job.

    Cons

The company doesn't trust you off the bat, they check the trash when you take it out and other silly things. Nothing that is a huge deal.

    Pros

-They offer a decent discount (30%), but you can only buy anything if the store manager is working and a lot of time by the time you actually do work with the manager the item is gone.

    Cons

-They classify customer service as basically attacking and harassing the customers. -They say they offer competitive pay but they definitely do not. -No communication at store or corporate level -No training program for new employees
